My oldest daughter, Audreay, six years old and to big for her britches :), asked me to paint a monarch butterfly. Admittedly, this was a little hard to do. I found that if you do not get the markings on the wings right, it doesn't look like a monarch. My daughter, approves of the finished painting, and I must say, so do I. :)Watercolor on cold press paper. 18 in. x 24 in.
