Do you ever feel so calm and collected that you are ready for anything? I have been so busy lately and yet, this rush of calm came over me. These flowers were so beautiful. Sitting there in the floral section of my local grocery store, I couldn't turn away. I bought them, got them home and set them on my kitchen table. So still and alive. I had to paint them. So here you go, the result of my calm demeanor. This took a surprisingly long time to paint. I feel accomplished, finishing this :)
